Your privacy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Kidtivity Lab receives, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. Who we are

Kidtivity Lab provides activity ideas and resources for parents, caregivers, and educators. In this policy, “Kidtivity Lab,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of kidtivitylab.com.

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to info@kidtivitylab.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you choose to provide

  • Email subscriptions: your email address and subscription preferences.
  • Messages: your email address and anything you include when contacting us.
  • Privacy requests: information reasonably needed to understand and verify a request.

Information received automatically

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may receive basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, referring page, and timestamps. We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and remembering preferences.

Kidtivity Lab does not require an account for the MVP and does not ask visitors to create public profiles.

3. How we use information

  • to deliver requested emails and resources;
  • to answer questions, corrections, and privacy requests;
  • to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
  • to understand which activities and filters are most useful;
  • to prevent fraud, abuse, or technical attacks;
  • to meet applicable legal obligations.

Where required, we rely on consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies. Other processing may be based on operating the service, our legitimate interests, or compliance with law.

4. Email and service providers

Newsletter signups may be processed by an email delivery provider. Hosting, analytics, security, and form-delivery providers may process limited information on our behalf only to provide their services. Their own policies may also apply where they act independently.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the website.

We do not sell personal information for money. If our use of advertising or analytics later creates an activity treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law, we will update this policy and provide the required opt-out controls.

5. Children’s privacy

Kidtivity Lab is written for adults—parents, caregivers, and educators—not for children to use independently. We do not knowingly request or collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Please do not submit a child’s name, photograph, precise location, contact details, school, or other identifying information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

6. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution needs. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

  • unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message;
  • adjust browser settings or available cookie controls;
  • request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of eligible personal information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing where applicable;
  • opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where required.

Rights vary by location and may be subject to verification and legal exceptions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Send requests to info@kidtivitylab.com with the subject “Privacy Request.”

8. External links and affiliate links

Our pages may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Some product links may be affiliate links; clicking them may allow the retailer or affiliate network to recognize the referral.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website, providers, or legal requirements change. The new version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted elsewhere on the site.
